Hi,
I've noticed that on one of our test systems in SM21 there is a reference
to :
OPTIONS = BUFFERED
ni hdl = 17
type = REM_GW
net_stat = CONNECT_TO_REM_GW_PENDING
hostaddr = 10.1.192.134
accept_hostaddr = 10.1.192.134
opcode = REMOTE_GATEWAY
conn opcode = NORMAL_CLIENT
conn vers = 0
index = 1
data = (nil)
ext_info = 0xb4bba0
offset = 0
rest_len = 0
snc_forced = 0
remote gateway infos:
hostname = sappr8
hostaddr = 10.1.192.134
service = sapgw03
Now sappr8 (10.1.192.134) is an old server we removed
a couple of months back.
Can anyone tell me where I can remove this setting from so
it dones't try to connect??
Thanks
Andy
Hi Andy,
Can you please check if there are old pending connections in the gateway monitor (tx SMGW) ?
You can also clear the hostname buffer within this same transaction.
Also check for RFC's still pointing to this old system.
Kind regards,
Mark

Hello
Check for the RFC's configured with the IP address of the old server.
Good Luck
