Does SAP TAO able to Test Reports and Background Jobs?

Hi TAO Experts,

I am new to SAP TAO. I would like to know if SAP TAO can also test ABAP Reports and Background Jobs?

I was looking around, I wasn't successful in finding any information about this.

Lastly, I would like to ask in which scenario custom vbscripting is needed and how frequently scripting or coding is needed.

Hi Amanda,

Yes! we can. Basically you have to attached Tcode to the ABAP report and you can record the transaction Via PFA and Check points for validation.

I had also used to Tcodes like SM35, SM36 and SM37 in my recording to schedule Background jobs.

VBscripting may be used in interface (Non SAP) scenario where the data for SAP interface will be generated by the VBscript or recording.
