Increase frequency for monitoring gateway in ccms

Hello,

Currently our solution manager 7.1 is monitoring our satellite systems through RZ20 ccms & we get alerts from this for all systems if any problem once a day arnd 7 am.

This way errors are not runtime errors.

Now we want to increase the monitoring of only gateway communication in ccms which will give alerts at runtime.

Need help for increasing frequency of monitoring.

Thanks

Shradha

Hello Shradha,

If you are using a central auto-reaction method to monitor the gateway nodes of the satellite system the email will be triggered as soon as the alert is created and the information transfered to the CEN system.

If you are using local auto-reaction methods, just make sure to select under the Control tab of this method the option "Periodically in dialog process (short-running program). Otherwise executing the method as background can delay the email creation.

Hi,

I think that you can use the property.

R3Services\Gateway_Summary\Gateway_Reader

MTE NAME : Gateway_Reader

1400420 - Names of CCMS monitors for SAP NetWeaver Gateway

If you want to monitor it externally check the below link related to gwmon.
