some of Material Desciption are not getting Replicated over to SRM

Hello SRM gurus,

I am using SRM Server 5.5,Classic Scenario.When we replicated materials some of the material Descriptions are not transferred.Can't see in Commpr01.Any clues please?

we are using filter settings "Purchasing view is must"

Hi,

Check also table COMM_PRSHTEXT for field LANGU, and SHORT_TEXT - SHTEXT_LARGE.

For some materials short text is updated as ##### ### ####### in table COMM_PRSHTEXT .

when i have entered the firelds for selction "lang" = EN.

Canu please help us , how to correct this error.

Hi

In the SRM Text Tables, see how many records exists. note it down.

Do a replication once for some materials again without specifying the langauage ?

In the SRM Text Tables, Don't enter any lnaguage and see how many records get uploaded after replication.

See what are the results ?

Check whether any error log gets generated ?

Hi all,

any solution?

We are facing the same problem.

Any Base Texts from R/3 are not replicated to SRM.

Table COMC_PR_TEXT_M in SRM contains the relevant mapping

MATERIAL GRUN PRODUCT BASE 01

But the text is not replicated to SRM, I can`t see any Base Texts within COMMPR01.

Any idea?

we had similar issue for org unit description replication from ECC to SRM.

The solution for changing the type of RFC to UNICODE

may help you

Just to clearify:

RFC Connection between SRM and ECC should be in UNICODE?

You think, that could be the reason?

But that would mean to change the systems to Unicode, right?! Otherwise I can`t change the RFC Connection from Non-Unicode to UNICODE.

Might be hard work for a test....

Any other solutions?

Does the replication of longtexts works in ECC / SRM landscape in your system?

For example description created in german logon language and SRm logon in english...

Dear yann,

All the materials created are by upload program in R/3 system (user id logon lang is blank) .

My RFc user id is having a logon langa is EN.

i have checked all the material short text Lang EN is maintained in additional data tab in R/3 in mm03 transaction .

Please give more details .

Mani,

If you maintained text for material in R/3 MM03 transaction, run material replication in SRM Middleware again and check in transaction COMMPR01 short text for this material.
