MDM Catalog components version

Hi Experts,

We are going to implement SRM MDM catalog in our project.

Please let us know the exact version of the corresponding components to be deployed.

PI version is PI 7.3 SP5

MDM 7.1 SP09

SRM-MDM Catalog 7.02

SRM 7 EHP2

Dear Sunil,

It is recommended to deploy the latest version of SRM-MDM Catalog 7.02, which is

SP07 P01 for NW7.0x and

SP01 P03 for NW7.3.

In the relevant SRM-MDM release note (1854107 or 1874520) you can find information about the release level of the required MDM components (MDM 7.1 SP09 or SP10).

You have to upgrade all MDM components consistently to the same SP:

- J2EE deployment (MDM_JAVA_API, MDM_CONNECTOR etc.)

- MDM core (MDM Server, Import Server, etc.)

- GUI part (MDM Console, Data Manager, Import Manager, etc.)

and restart the J2EE after the upgrade.

Regarding download you can check the attachment of SAP note 1476694.

If it's still not working, let me know what kind of error you see.

Hi Timea,

Thanks for your reply.

We are able to access the SRM_MDM_UI,but once we connect to server i am unable to connect to SRM_MDM_Catalog Repository.we are using pre-delivered repository content as per SAP Note 1548532.

I am trying with user "Master" who has UI configuration access.

Getting error "Login Failed"

Hi Sunil,

Check

- if the component versions are really consistent

- if MDM_CONNECTOR has been deployed too and has the same SP as other MDM components

- if everything seems to be correct, upgrade the WD-RUNTIME component to the latest available patch of your SP level (there was an issue with WD-RUNTIME that caused this error and has been corrected within the latest patch)

Issue resolved..

Created New user in MDM and provided the UI Configuration.

Restart the J2EE

Restart the MDM Server.

We have deployed below components

BP_MDM_APP

BP_MDM_TECH

BP_SRM_MDM

MDM_CONNECTOR

MDM_JAVA_API

SRM_MDM_CAT

But,unable to access the server in SRM_MDM_UI.

Please advise.
