SolMan-Self-Monitoring: Auto-notification for certain alerts

Hi all,

we are configuring Technical Monitoring in our SolMan systems 7.10 SPS8.

One of the first things to be done -after having successfully finished all these general SOLMAN_SETUP things - is the configuration of the Self-Monitoring

(SOLMAN_SETUP ==> Technical Monitoring, selecting SolMan Self-Monitoring).

All steps are finished meanwhile and everything seems to work fine

Now, we are thinking about configuring auto-notifications for self-monitoring alerts.

Within the steps in SOLMAN_SETUP, we activated auto-notification for self-monitoring (step 2.3 "Default settings").As a result of this, we have auto-notifications up and running for Self-Monitoring alerts, but we receive mails for every alert in area of self-monitoring. But we just want to have these alert-mails for the most important ones, e.g. if Wily EM is not available. We do not find any settings how to activate auto-notification just for selected alerts, not for all.

Has anyone an idea how to manage such a configuration:

     - Viewing all self-moni alerts but receiving auto-notifications just for selected alerts?

From the work center point of administration/configuration there is no option to configure thresholds or specific notifications for the self monitoring aspects.  The only option that is provided is the check boxes that you see under step 3.2.

Personally, I set the notifications back to none for this piece of SolMan; and just make a habit of checking the self monitoring tab under the alert inbox.
