Is the number of setup transitions limited?

Hi everybody!

We were told that the number of setup transitions is limited to 3000. Is this information accurate?

If not, is there a limit? Where could I increase the number of maximal setup transitions?

The number of setup groups is limited to 3,000 as described in Note 1174123.

Hii Mitch,

As mentioned by Maclean, the Number of set up groups can be maximum up to 3000 in a single set up matrix. SAP recommend also to use 1000 to 1500. some time 3000 may cause some system performance issue.

But yes the transitions n a set up matrix can be many more. There is no limit in transition of set up matrix.
