SRM - ClamAV Antivirus Installation

Hi All,

I have requirement to install ClamAV Antivirus for our SRM Server. I tried installing and getting error when starting the service.

Below are some of the errors. If anyone installed ClamAV, please help me.

I suggest to try Google with your Warning messages.

Hi Ponnusamy,

as this is not really SAP related at all, I would suggest to check with the clamAV forums.

However based on the messages I would guess your SRM server is not connected to the internet or at least can't query the DNS for information with regards to clamAV.

As inidcated by Bernhard, a good start is the clamav wiki at
