If Material Ledger Activated:

  • Activate Valuation Areas for ML

Hello dear,

Perhaps a little more details would be necessary; if you are expecting a proper answer.

If this is an existing plant in SAP, the process will be different from its not in SAP. If it is not in SAP, it is as good as a new plant for SAP.

Please do let the forum know the details, so that you could be guided properly.

Do this plant will work as distribution plant???

If it will work only as an production plant then its PP consultant responsiblity.

But if it is going to work as distribution plant then you need to do setup from SD point of view as Sontosh mentioned above.

Hi,

Is that plant created in SAP ?

check the Plant set up  such as

1. Defining the Plant in Enterprise structure

2 . Assign of Plant to the Company code, and purchase organization

3. Setting up of sales line ( sales org+ distribution channel)

4. Assignment of valuation area to the plant

5. Set up Plant Parameters

6. Assignment of Material types to Plant

These are some to mention.

Alternatively you can copy from any of your already established plant and change the respective settings

santosh
