Error while Upgrade of PI 7.11 to SPS 05 - during the execution of the Run sapcpe for SCS step with action execute

Hello everybody,

while upgrading a IP 7.11 installation to SPS 05 the follwing error occured:

The mentioned Files in the last line have not been created.

Can anybody help with further advice what to check or has even experienced the error and is able to help with a solution?

Thanks for your response.

After checking the sapcpe_scs.log I found the following:

ActualizeLocalFileOrDir: wdispadmin.SAR (FPM:0x1)
*** ERROR: ActualLocalFileOrDir:lstat /usr/sap/SIP/SYS/exe/uc/linuxx86_64/wdispadmin.SAR, 2, No such file or directory, 
[sapxxcpe.c:1894]

Obviously this file was missing because it wasn't copied during a previous kernel update.

After providing this file the error could be resolved.

Hi Phillip,

Extract the 720 SAPCPE patch 5 to the <update or upgrade directory>/abap/exe, <update or upgrade directory>/abap/exenew as well as to the directory /usr/sap/<SID>/SYS/exe/uc/as400_pase_64/sapcpe, and repeat the phase.

Note 1566906 - sapcpe terminates with error: sh: ./fixsapown: not found

Hi Philip,

Check the permission of sapcpe.exe file in 

or

try to execute the sapcpe.exe pf=give the SCS01 profile

and also paste the logs for

1. Check if process output file(s) '/sum/SUM/sdt/log/SUM/CALL_SAPCPE_SCSTaskExecutorService.OUT', '/sum/SUM/sdt/log/SUM/CALL_SAPCPE_SCSTaskExecutorService.ERR' have been created.
