Hi All,
Could You please explain how IMDSO is work in SAP HANA.
Because standard DSO in BW will move the data from Activation Queue to Active Table using RECORDMODE and Key fields of DSO.
But in IMDSO we are not Maintain the Keyfields.T hen How activation is going where there is no change in Key fields in Transaction Data.

Nagender
Hi Nagendar,
When we convert DSO to HANA as IMDSO, we will have the following changes
1) Activation queue and Active tables are created in SAP HANA.
2) Instead of change log table system creates calculation view for this. (so change log table is not physical one in HANA, it's an view)
Detla mangement happens with the help of history tables in HANA Tables.
you can have a look at the links provided by mahesh.

Venkat

One update:
With SP06 (or even SP05 I am not completely sure), it is advisable NOT to convert the DSO to In-Memory optimized DSO and keep it as it is.
This way the Change log table would a PHYSICAL table. It has been observed that the physical change log provides better performance when the DSO is also a source DSO to another target.
Hence depending upon your architecture, you can choose to "convert" or "keep it as it is".

Ravi
Ravi,
this is correct. This change is coming with BW 7.30 SP10 (7.31 SP9 resp.) and HANA revision 57. You could also apply note 1849497 for BW SP8 or SP9.
More details can be found:
Please read the notes and documents above before starting your conversion or re-conversion of DSOs.
Best regards
