hi,
Is there any change in the way we start/stop livecache using LC10 transaction? In earlier releases (7.6) LC10 used to invoke /sapdb/<SID>/db/sap/lcinit script to start the live Cache. Is it changed in 7.7 or higher?
Regards,
Venkat
Hello Venkat,
It's recommended to start the liveCache in LC10.
The ABAP LC10 liveCache administration code released with SAP basis SP.
When you started the liveCache in LC10 & connection to the liveCache reached, the lcinit script run with option "restart" on the liveCache server, the lcinit script is part of the liveCache kernel installation.
If you would like to discuss this topic further => create SAP message.
For SAP liveCache documentation Please See the SAP note 767598.
