Hi forum members,

client side:

  • Crystal Reports 2011 Developer 14.0.4.738 RTM
  • SAP GUI 7.30 Compilation 1
  • Crystal Dashboard Designer 6.0.4.0
  • NetWeaver Business Client 4.0 Final Release PL 4

server side:

  • Crystal Transports (decribed above)
  • SAP ECC 702 System

  • BOBJ-server

Some Infos:

i have some questions regarding to my netweaver business client:

I try to get some Dashboards builded in Cyrstal Reports to NWBC (SAP InfoSet/SAP Query --> Crystal Report --> Dashboard Designer/Xcelsius)

Actually i try to set up our bobj-server to get live office working.

The main question:

I read about a nwbc portal, what kind of tool did i need to install on the client side and the server side to get nwbc working?

Actually i only get access to my sap-erp system. But i need further tool i.e. the page builder etc. because i want to integrate my builded reports. What kind of options did i have?

at the moment my nwbc screen looks like this:

I dont get it what tools i need to get access to the portal, or are there any other options?

i.e. there is a "back door way" ( http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-28779 ) but for this i also need tha page builder!

Thank you so much for your help!

Best regards!

David

Hello David,

Unfortunately it is not the solution itself, but please check the following article:

http://service.sap.com/sap/support/notes/1832862

It shows the services needed to be set for NWBC to run the portal.

Hello David;

It's more simple to use BCV Reports and use Xcelsius to view actual data inside your SAP ECC.

You can link a BCV Report to a Dashboard.
