sap pi 7.3 SLD - Business system present,not coming in ID

Hi,

I am in SAP PI 7.3

In SLD i have 4 business systems which i want to use in ID.

But in ID ,when i am going to "Assign Business System" - no business system is shown from SLD. So, I am not able to use communication component in ID.

Can you please help in it ?

(1) Does business system comes in ID from SLD by using "Assign business system"

OR

(2) we have to manually create communication component in ID which is identical to SLD business system ?

Yes

If it is not appearing try to do SLD Cache refresh:

Environment-->Clear SLD Data Cache

After doing it the Business sys created in SLD should appear in the list.

I hope you have configured all the necessary things in SLD

like Products , SWCV , Technical sys , Business sys

Assign the Business sys to the corressponding Technical sys you have created.

Hi,

Check if you your cache notifications are green..

Try to do SLD cache refresh...also as mentioned by Bhargav...if the Business system is already imported in another scenario you can right click and assign the same to your scenario.

Yes, we should assign it from SLD.

OR

(2) we have to manually create communication component in ID which is identical to SLD business system ?

No, we should only create when we did not defined in SLD, used it when we dont have the system details to configure in SLD and B2B scenarios.

If you have already imported the business system and used it another scenarios, you cant again import the same business system from SLD.

if you used in another scenarios, go the configuration scenarios in which you used the business system

--> Right click on the business system  --> Assign Configuration Scenario --> select the configuration scenario, in which you want to use that business system and ok.

it will automatically added to your current configuration scenarios.
