Planning dates

Hi there,

I guess it's an easy one but still I have to ask:

Where and how should I set the system in order that weekends will be taken into account.

Eg. starting date is Monday, I put 7 days for duration and I expect that I end the project on Sunday.

And I don't want to mess with factory calendar.

Can anybody shed a hint?

Sorry Joe, it's controlled through the factory calendar.  You can create a Planning Factory Calendar that shows all days as valid work days and use that calendar on your PS objects.  That does not mean that the plant has to use your calendar.

However, I found out that if I don't put calendar at all on the planning tab, it will take free days into account as well.

Please refer to SAP Note 151551 for a very detailed explanation of how network scheduling is calculated. This is a very handy reference note.
