WBS closed without settling the cost in AUC

Hai

One WBS was closed wihout settling the AUC value. How system allowed to close without final settlement of cost.

While re-opening of WBS from status CLSD to TECO, system is showing following message without updating the status.

Now FI persons are worrying for non settlement of cost in AUC.

Please suggest how to reopen the WBS.

Hello,

I think they are 2 things:

1) how was it possible the project was Closed without full settlement?

Not 100% sure but I think by standard the system gives you an error Message when you try to close it.. But the "type of error" can be in some cases changed from error to warning and close the WBS without full settle.

Try to close a WBS not full settle, and take the message ID, go to OBMSG to check if your message has been configured to be skipped( can be configured by user)

2) if it is closed and you open again the system should let you,

check in which table there is trying to enter the duplicated register and check if ou have an enhacement that can be not correct

That error is unrelated to a status change transaction. SAP is trying to write 2 records with the same keys.

You should open a SAP message to address it.

For you object problem try set the status to revoke Close.  Edit Status Close Undo
