GRC AC 10 - Create new mitigating control owners

Background: We migrated RAR and SPM data from 5.3. Along with that data came the mitigating control owners, the Firefighter owners, etc. The data looks great in the new version but now we want to create new owners. In GRC AC 10.0, how do I create new owners? Whether I'm in the Organizations form or the Access Control Owners form, I can only select owners that we migrated. How do I create a new one?

Any guidance or information would be greatly appreciated!

Hi Jes

You will need to:

- create the su01 master in GRC

- run the user sync - object repository

- NWBC - Access Mgmt - Access Control Owners - create an entry and select owner type

Once you do this they will appear on relevant owner selection options

Create owner as Mitigation Approver and Owner, in Organization.

Assign these ownersvas Mitigation approver and owner, in Mitigation Control

Does this have to be done in DEV and in PROD, or can it be transported? (Creating a new owner in Organization and in Owners table)?

Hello everyone,

You don't have to run user sync since you are creating user in GRC  as an owner and not bringing user from target system.
