Cost centers entered in the shopping cart which is not present in user attribute.

Hello All,

We are using SRM 7,0 classic scenario. users has 10 cost centers assigned in SRM attribute, during shopping cart creation these 10 cost centers are displayed and user can select from the list. now the problem is, user ís allowed to enter the cost center which is not assigned in the user attributes. what is the exact behavior of the system, when user entering the cost center which is not assigned in the user attribute does system has to throw an error message or it should allow ?? in our case it is allowed, please confirm which is the correct behavior.

Hi Santhosh,

nope... User can enter any valid cost center.

Attribute is only a proposed value.

Thanks for the response. We are able to enter the cost center which is not assigned in user attribute and we would able to create shopping cart sucessfully. please let me know how to stop this behavior.

you can implement customer check via BBP_DOC_CHECK_BADI.
