Dear All,

Today every company who install SAP, needs only experienced candidate rather than fresher, my question is that then which firm/company will give chance to aspiring candidates to gather real time exposure in industry.Secondly Certification is not enough to enter into the SAP world. Each & every job opening mails...required criteria 2 to 3 implementations.

How to tackle this please suggest.

Thank you

Saggy.

HI,

There are lot difference in recruiting process with Asia and  other continents.

as per India, certification is consider to be an education not experience.

And when you are going for a onsite opportunity for Example L1 for short term,

no certifications required, of course when you are appearing for a job directly or

appearing for H1. The sponsor for you has to speak to the embassy that you are

the right guy to do all the works, they will require your certification.

so in this case experienced guy also in need of certification to get some golden

opportunists.

For a fresher level ur education background is very much important not the certifications.

If your academic score is 98%, which company will not recruit you?

Fresher level is to hire as a trainee not as an working employee. By company point of you

company will see where there you can able to sail, how is your grasping power? aptitude thinking

etc...

No companies are ready to board a fresh employee in a project before attending the training part

at-least for a year of time and to gain KT one 6 months as a supporting guy for seniors.

So don't do certifications for fresher level entries for Indian Jobs.

Hi,

IMHO, the best way to break into the SAP world is to get a permanent job at a large company (or government) that is already using SAP. Then volunteer to use SAP / support SAP / be a SAP champion inside that company.

This is an excellent way to get good SAP experience. They may even send you on further training.

cheers

Paul
