NW 7.3 Installation stops with error "Could not open the ICU common Library"

Hi,

I am installing NW 7.3 in Windows / sybase platform.

The installations stops with error:

"Could not open the ICU common Library. The following files must be in the path described by the environment variable PATH:

sap icuuc40.dll, icuin40.dll"

These files are not available in the system.

Please let me know your suggestions/ solution to proceed with the installation.

Hi,

I resolved the issue.

The 3 files mention are not available in Kernel_Ext. I copied these from normal Kernel and the installation continued and completed.

Can you let us know OS version?

I suggest you to check out os sap prerequisites.

Hello Dev,

What is your OS ?? Is it AIX. I remember that there is a SAP Note for this issue in AIX OS.

Please check for it if you have the AIX OS.
