SAP NetWeaver Gateway Connection Details Needed

Hi,

I downloaded  SAP NetWeaver Gateway tool for Xcode for developing applications for iPhone. In the Preferences, they are asking me to configure the SAP NetWeaver Gateway connection details. I dont know from where I will get all those details.

Can anyone help me to answer this?

Hi Jickith,

If you don't have your own SAP NetWeaver Gateway system, you can use SAP's Demo system.

Host: gw.esworkplace.sap.com

Port: 80

Username: GW@ESW

Password: ESW4GW

Please remember to uncheck the "useHTTPS" checkbox.

I connected to Demo System and able to do some examples.

Now, I have a doubt on SAP NetWeaver Gateway System.

Is SAP NetWeaver Gateway System a server for SAP ?

How can I build SAP NetWeaver Gateway System ?

Password: ESW4GW

unchecked the "useHTTPS" checkbox.

but still I get a network connection error.

Do you have a solution for this.

I tried the same detail configuration for Netweaver Eclipse plugign but it's not wotking for me.

Are these services still exposed?

This system: gw.esworkplace.sap.com is not working anymore.

Instead you can use this demo landscape: sapes1.sapdevcenter.com

Though as you can see here:

It appears the system is currently down until 03/02.

Hi Michal,

I am tryinh to configure the cloud connector to the system . I need to give the internal host and port for the connectivity to the sap backend system . I have given the sam e, but when I tried it gave me a reply

"catalog 'name of the destination  ' is missing " .Can anyone help on this

Hi Michael ,

That issue I have solved myself . it was the issue with wrong selection for back end system in destination ( Now I selected SAP HANA instead of ABAP System) and got data connection part overcoem .I was trying to build a portal for external users using SAP FIORI . But the corresponding odata service(SRA019_SHIPMENT_TRACKING_SRV) is not seen in my system .Can you please help me on that .
