ChaRM: Non SAP apps

Hi

We currently utilise ChaRM in Solman 7.0

We will be shortly upgrading to Solman 7.1 and I've been reading through some documentation.  I read one Ramp-Up Knowledge Transfer document and it stated ChaRM can be used for SAP and non-SAP apps.

As mentioned above, we currently use ChaRM for SAP.  However, how would one use ChaRM for NON-SAP?????

Thanks very much

Shaun

hi Shaun,

There are lots of documents available in google.

You need to enable CTS+ for charm to support non - sap , like JAVA imports.

refer the questions 25 here

and if your CHARM is already active in 7.0, you are upgrading to 7.1, you must follow additional steps for this scenario, because your old Transaction types no longer works in 7.1

you can get the needed details in upgrade guide,

Thanks

Thanks Jansi.

Yes I'll well are of CTS+ and upgrading to 7.1

When I read "Non-SAP" I was thinking of platforms like Sharepoint.  I was just going to use Administration transaction type to manage these changes.  I think that's probably the best way.

Cheers
