CIF Interface blocking

Hi

How to block all outbound CIF  from APO to ECC, due to a business requirement, I need to have all master and transaction data sent from ECC to APO and have Integration models for this, but the transaction data from APO needs to be blocked and not sent to ECC (we change some transaction data in APO and don't want this change in ECC).

You could try removing the publication settings in the IMG.  This is under:

IMG > Integration via APO core interface (CIF) > Basic settings for data transfer > Publication > Maintain distribution definition

Here you define which types of order (external procurement, in house production etc) are published for which locations into which logical system.  If you remove the settings for the order types and locations you are interested in then nothing can be published back to ECC.  You can then selectively switch on and off as required.

Hi,

You can block all outbound cif queues from APO to ECC using program "/SAPAPO/CIFSTOPQUEUES"
