Wily agent issue Java system on AIX

Hello,

I have installed latest DA on java system on AIX.

But now java engine is not coming up.

i have gone through the note 1504655.

My jstart version is  PL 63.

Please advice how to proceed.

Do you happen to have a CCMS agent installed on the system?  If you do, you may want to remove it or at the very least disable the service and try restarting the Diag Agent again.

i cant find anything inside /usr/sap/ccms/sapccmsr/... so i assume ccms agent is not installed.p

Have you checked the note#1316652...Is Java  coming up without DAA..?

/usr/sap/ccms/sapccmsr is also installed when you install the SMD agents, FYI.

Can you verify the status of your services?  I don't have experience with AIX, do you have an /etc/rc.d or a /etc/init.d/ folder to verify startup services?

Is there anything in the following files?

dev_jcontrol

jvm_dispatchewr.out

dev_bootstrap_ID*

Also if you uninstall the DA, will your java system start normally?
