I am unable to deploy an application using SDM. I have correctly
maintained the password in the Secure Store in Config.Bat and taken
restart of the Server Node & SDM as well. Even I am able to access
Visual Admin Tool using the Admin user with the same password. But
during undeployment of the Application it throws the same error again
and again. I have already followed the SAP recommended notes for this
issue but still unable to resolve the issue.
I even replaced the configtoo.jar file from the lib and then set the
new password in the Secure Store again then saved it and took restart
of the SDM,Server Node still it throws the same error.
Please see the logs written below :

Hi Vishwam
try the following
changed the password for the user SAP* using the configtool under cluster-data -> Global server configuration -> services -> comn.sap.security.core.ume.service -> ume.superadmin.password. Type in the value field, hit "set" and retyped it in again. Hit save, restarted the instance.

and also
if it a local server, select the second option and browse for the system name. the instance and the SCS number will be populated by itself.
If it is a remote server , folow the instructions.
1.Give the full name of the hostname that you give in the Portal url , say http://hostname:port/irj.portal.
2.Now logon to http://hostname:port/index.htm
3.Click on system information. Enter with administrator's id and password. Over there the message server port is displayed. Please use this message port.

Hi Iyer,
Reset the password for admin user
Follow the below link for reseting the password
http://wiki.sdn.sap.com/wiki/display/EP/Reset+SDM+Password+in+Unix+and+Windows+Environment
Try to logon to the config tool and visual admin first and maintain the same password in while reseting the user.
With Regards
Ashutosh Chaturvedi
