In AC 10, I'd configured the Firefighter workflow per the default settings, and was having an issue with the URL for the log files not being sent in the emails. That has since been addressed by using SE61 to modify the appropriate template.
However, we'd opened a message with SAP, and they'd recommended that we apply note
0001858555 GRC EAM10.0 Completed work flow cannot be reviewed
On applying this note, we are now no longer able to view the Firefighter log, instead seeing an error as follows:

We're trying to figure out how to address this issue and SAP hasn't been able to get back to us with a solution.
Have any of you encountered this error?
Thanks,
Santosh
TL;DR: Implemented SAP note on recommendation from SAP, ended up no longer being able to view Firefighter logs.
HI Santosh
If you say you have fixed it with SE61 can you reverse the note? It may be that some of the pre-reqs or subsequent notes have a manual configuration you have to do as part of the change.
Also, is the short dump occurring on existing Workflow or newly created?

Hi Santosh,
Sorry to read about your regressive bug. That error seems like there is an issue with the application coding introduced by the SAP note implemented. I am sure you have not changed any of your configuration settings or EAM related background job settings etc. It may still be worthwhile to check your WF-BATCH ID authorisations as well as your actual Controller's (GRC system SU01).
Have you told SAP to actually have a look at the new error? Also, what are the chances of reversing the note out? (I know this isn't easy at all times).
all the best

HI Santosh
First up.... my recommendation is to always get a Developer or Basis to install notes for (or at least - with) you - especially when you are changing code. Also, when you have a heap of pre-reqs, etc
To back it out - you do this via SNOTE and go through the prompts. Again, see if you can sit with a developer colleague
