Hi Narender,
Are you receiving any errors in the logs?
1. On the uPerform Search server, ensure the Common Apache (instance
name) - Solr service is actually started and stays running in Services.
2. You can test if the Solr search server has started correctly by
navigating to http://[server_name]:8983 on the search server. (This port
is the default port and is shown in your Solr installation log file.)
If the Solr service is started, you will see a Welcome Solr! page.
3. If the Welcome Solr! page is displayed properly, ensure you can
connect to the search server from a different machine.
4. If the Solr search service is running, and you are not able to
connect using the URL, please ensure you are using the correct machine
name and port.
5. If you are able to successfully connect to the Solr search service
and all appears to be running, please test your search functionality and
advise if any results are returned.
Hope this helps,
Regards,
Matthew
