Hi Experts,
I have Installed SAP IDES system in our server with both SAP ECC and EP, after installation of EP I am trying to give some connections to ECC-EP and update License for EP system. For the older version we use to update the license for the OS level for this new version we were unable to update the same from OS level.
When I use the link for the NWA it throwing a message as below. Both the ECC and EP systems were installed successfully and ready to use, only the connections were missing because of this error. Versions are SAP EHP6 and NW 7.3.
URL: http://host/nwa
Error: Remote Access to the NetWeaver Administrator is forbidden. See SAP Note: XXXXX for details.
Please help me to fix the issue.
Appreciate for your help in Advance.
Vidya.

Hello,
Check SAP Note 1451753 - Filtering administration requests for AS Java
As per above note, check in DEFAULT.PFL if below parameter exists and then create a rule file "icm_filter_rules.txt" at below location.
icm/HTTP/mod_0 = PREFIX=/,FILE=$(DIR_GLOBAL)/security/data/icm_filter_rules.txt
If you do not want to use rules for icm, then you can comment the above parameter in DEFAULT.PFL and restart java engine. This should fix your problem with opening NWA.

Denish
