Update currency exchange rate in PPM from ERP?

Hi,

I need to update currency exchange rates in PPM from ERP system where the exchange rates are updated daily. I have tried using report RSIMPCURR but it seems like this report only works for BW.

Another option is to write my own ABAP code which will do a call to ERP to get TCURR entries and then all records will be updated in TCURR table in PPM. But I want to know if their is a SAP standard way or a better way of doing it.

Hello Nahman,

If you work in PPM 5.0 I think it is not needed update the erates in PPM the system PPM conects to ECC to retrieve the erates.

Hi Clara,

Its PPM 5.0 version, but then their must be some config/report which connects to ECC to retrieve the exchange rates. In BW their is a report which is beeing used to retrieve the data. Although that report exists in PPM but it gives error message that report is specifically is meant for BW system. Name of that report is RSIMPCURR.
