Catalog attribute not visible in portal

Hello Gurus,

This is happening just for one user. If I add a certain punchout catalog to a user in ppoma_bbp, the user is still not able to see the same in the portal.

What can be the reason for the same.

Where else should I look for?

Please help.

Thanks

Hi Kartik,

Maybe this user is using a different logon language. Check if the catalog description has been translated to all used logon languages.

You can do this in the Webservice customizing by selecting the catalog -> Goto -> Translation.

Check this wiki site if you need help with screenshots about how to do this:

Hi Timea,

Thanks for the reply. I did check the same, but that catalog is maintained in all languages. Is there somewhere we can check which catalogs are assigned to a user. Some table where I can verify the same.

Hi Kartik,

The catalogs have to be assigned to the user in SRM with transaction PPOMA_BBP. The relevant webservice has to be added to the user attributes (attribute CAT).

If this has been done and the translation exists, the link has to be displayed. There are no other settings needed.

Regards,

Timea
