How to install agents for Solman 7.1 SP08

I need to know from where can I download the required agents to install them in Solman 7.1, Also I need to know the steps to install the same in Solman?

Thanks to the replies, have been through the notes and links mentioned above found it very helpful, since yesterday I am trying to find the location to download the file to install but I am clueless.

I am not able to find the location, from where can I download the agent?

You would have found the same in installation guides as well.

For your reference, you can find the same in below path.

Goto http://service.sap.com/swdc -> SAP Software Download Center -> Installation and Upgrades -> My Company's Application Components -> My Company's Software -> SAP Solution Manager -> Select your version -> SAP Solution Manager Diagnostics -> SMD Agent

Hi Omkar,

You can use the below URL to configure your solman, although there will be some difference as your SP level is SP08.

You need S-user id to access this content.

You have to install Diagnostics agent and hostagent on all managed system, database server and application server and connect them with solman while installation or you can connect it to solman later on also.

Hello Omkar,

It seems you are talking about installing Solution manager diagnostic agents. You will find an option under SAPInst for the same.

Please have a look at the installation guide for Solution manager diagnostic agents.
