Hi All,
I'm facing an issue with geomaps.
I had created a webi report with a table with POIs. I saw this table as a map in Mobi for geo analysis as it described in the Report designed guide.
After upgrading the SAP BI client in my iPAD to 4.4.28 I can not see the maps, I only see the POIs.
I have internet connection and Im seeing this report online.
Is anyone having this issue? Do you know what I should check?
Thanks, Federico
Federico,
We had a similar problem. Try switching VPN off (you won't lose the report data). For some reason our VPN was restricting the bandwidth allowed to the iPad's native maps app. Once we turned it off it worked fine. Also, double tapping the map seems to give more functionality for some reason.
Regards,
Glenn

I had the same issue recently.
It was a proxy issue. I had to make sure that Google maps would completely load under the same internet connection as the Webi report.

Were you able to solve this issue with geomaps on IPAD?

Hi Federico,
You have to be in online mode to see the geo-maps functionality work correctly as the report uses google maps and when you view such report in offline mode you would see only POI's and the map would not be visible similar to the behavior you are seeing.
Thanks
