PSAPUNDO tablespace is get filled frequently whenever any activity is going on in SAP level and we get alerts for them why?

This depends on the Oracle version you are using. If you are using Oracle 10 then not to worry, PSAPUNDO will be auto managed.

And normally the usage of the tablespace is high since Oracle will try to keep the undo segments there as long as possible.

DB release is 11.2.0.3.0.,its oracle 11g

Hi Nitu,

Could you please check with your DBA whether ASM has been activated for PSAPUNDO on the database. If yes, this growth could be a result of that.
