External URL Link

Hi Experts,

have someone an idea how can I use an URL Link in Idm. I mean in detail I want to provide a external URL Link in a creation UI task. I already checked the attribute but I didn´t found a type like link.

Hi Rene,

You can use Help URL in the UI task. Select the task and click on help.

thank you for your very quick answer. But if I configure the URL for the help link like http://www.google.de doesn't works.

But the requirement is to provide a link anywhere placed on the UI task.

Security rules forbid any URL from being displayed by the UI in attributes/presentation areas where user and externally source data is displayed. They will in best case be quoted and unclickable. The help button is the only customizable one because only the admins can enter values in the configuration.

HI Rene,

The configuration has to be done has mentioned below in Identity center.

It works for me with help url as http://www.google.de .

In UI task

click on help. it opens url in a browser

google.de opens.

Other than this, I don't know if it is possible to have URL link anywhere in the UI . I did not see any such feature available.

Sorry, right now there is no way to do this from the WebDynpro UI.  You might be able to do it if you use the REST APIs to present your data.
