hi expert i want to add Persian or Arabic logon language to sap r3 .
how can i do this ?

Hi Maryam,
if your system is a Unicode system you can do that.
If is not a Unicode system you have to verify if it is possible.
Supposing that your system is Unicode the macro steps are:
- insert the language with transaction I18N in client 000
- classisy the language with transactios SMLT in client 000
- ulpoal the language with transaction SMLT in client 000
- elaborate all Support Packages with transaction SMLT in client 000
- supplement the language in client 000 (transaction SMLT)
- supplement the language in your production client (transaction SMLT)

Hi,
Arabic is a standard language as of R/3 Enterprise.
Hence you simply need to import the language.
Please have a look at SAP note 330104 for the necessary language DVD.
