Hi,

We want to popluate a new attribute in Event Message Header table. so

1.We have created a new Extension table for event Message HEader - Created a new table (YSV_EVM_EXT) with a field YCREATE_DTM1

2.We have created a new Event MEssage PArameter called YCREATE_DTM1 and assigned to Evt.Msg. Header YCREATE_DTM1.

3.Define Mapping profile - YCREATE_DTM1 of event Message Parameter Type with Direct Takeover.

When we try to post the event, the YSV_EVM_EXT is not getting populated. Pls advise.

Thanks

Radhika

Hello Radhika,

in the extraction of your Event Message how have you filled the structure TRACK_PARAMETERS? Did you set any value for PARTYP? This needs to be empty.

Best regards

Hi,

how do you send your Event Message? Are you using the Web UI or is it sent from an SAP system (or another system)? If the second case is true you need to check your data extraction. There you find the TRACK_PARAMETERS.

Berthold

Hi,

did you assign the Event Message Extension Table to your Event Handler Type in the customizing?

If you send event message from Web UI you can find further information on how to send event message parameters here: http://scn.sap.com/docs/DOC-35388

Cheers, Daniel
