Different condition value for single line item in billing plan

Hi Gurus,

I am working with service contract and billing plans. I have
a peculiar requirement which I am trying to portray with below example

I have one line item to bill in my contract

Contract validity – 01.04.2013 to 31.03.2014 (1 year)

Billing plan date- 01.04.2013 to 31.03.2014 (monthly billing)

Base price is as follows

01.04.2013 to 10.04.2013- 1000/month

01.04.2013 to 31.03.2014- 800/month

Now my requirement is that the June billing should be calculated as per the above mentioned rates in single invoice i.e. for first 10 days as as per Rs 1000 and balance 20 days of June as per Rs 800/month.

Please suggest how to achieve this.

Regards,

Himanshu

One another way is to use Scale in condition type. You can change scale formula in customization according to your requirement.

Hi Neeraj,

Thanks for the reply.

Please if you can elaborate your solution, as I feel suppliment condition will not fulfill my requirement. How is it possible to achieve this through scales.

Himanshu

Hi Himanshu,

In price condition type configuration, you will find scale setting. Your requirement looks like interval scale requirement.

Try to use Scale type 'Interval', scale basis:  Monthly 'M'.

You can create your own scale formula as per your requirement.

Check more detail on graduated scale

I hope this will help you to get your requirement.

You may try condition supplement. Assign suppliment contion procedure to your condtion type.

so once your condtion is getting determine for first 10 days of month, it will trigger one more condion at the same time as suppliment condtion which will have calculation of rest 20 days of June month..

hope this will help you.
