Demand Planning valuation

Hi,

We have had implementation of APO been over 18 months now and there are still some confusion about ASP and PSP, specifically how they measure, what they measure can anyone shine a light on this please.

Also partner forecast and events promotion planning does anyone use these fields? if so what are your thoughts on them please.

Any help would be appreciated, thank you

Hi Sabrina,

DP is not the same with every client. Are you using some SAP delivered stuff?

I am not sure what you mean, we are linked with our SAP system, what is causing the confusion is how the PSP and ASP is calculated, as the belief was that PSP takes 12 months of quantity and price to give an average and the ASP is current month sales and qty, however the prices being given do not seem to correspond  to this so trying to gain some further informaiton/explanation.

The events and partner forecast fields we are ok with now as the events is for a promotion etc and partner is more about what the customer is saying is there forecast and you can either run them parallel or input it in to the base.
