GRC 10: Mitigation Control Modification

Hi All,

Just want to check if modifying a  mitigation control is possible once it is assigned to any risk?

I have noticed that  only below mentioned details can be modified:

1. Valid From

2. Valid To

3. Status

4. Monitor (drop down)

However, I cant add/remove already assigned systems! The only way I found is to delete it and again mitigate the risk id with appropriate details required.

My question is: Is it not possible to change systems for an existing mitigation control?

Hi Faisal,

a good and easy way to change existing mitigations is to use an ABAP program for down- and upload.

Go to SA38 and use the following programs:

GRAC_UPLOAD_MIT_ASSIGNMENTS

GRAC_DOWNLOAD_MIT_ASSIGNMENTS

Once you have downloaded the full list into an Excel file you can do your adjustments and upload it again.
