Where to Check Quantity Contract Settings in SPRO

Hi SAP Gurus,

Where can I check Quantity Contracts Settings in SPRO?? In  Sales & Distribution->Sales->Sales Document->Contract only Master Data, Value Contract  & Contract Data fields are visible

Hi,

There are no specific settings for quantity contract like other contracts

It is just an agreement between supplier and customer to give certain quantity for certain period of time which are maintained as validity dates in SAP

you can create Sales order referring the Quantity contract as usual

Thanks Vemuri. I got ur point. But I wonder how can we limit the quantities. I have target quantity of 1000 but in order I am able to create more quantities hence I was looking for some customizing settings. I had checked in VTAA & VOV4 as well but no luck

Hi,

One of the solution that come to my mind would be to change the warning message in sales order to be an error one. Unfortunately, the message class here is V1 (no.501) and that cannot be changed in spro. Instead, the changes would need to be done in standard code.
