Issue with IDT

Hi, not sure if this is the correct forum but I could not find any other forum for Information Design Tool (IDT).

Am facing the following issue -

I have changed the user id and password in one of the relational connections and published it successfully on the CMC. The connection test for the shortcut connection fails with the message (Invalid user id or password). What could be the issue. The user ids in the connection and the user id used to publish the connection to the CMC are different.

Pl assist.

Hi saurabh,

Try to explicitly re-map the connection shortcut to the updated connection using below steps. It should test successful if its re-pointed correctly.

Double click on connection shortcut

Click on Change connection button

Navigate to the folder where connection is stored and select the connection again

Click Finish

Close the connection shortcut window.

open it again by double clicking and click on test connection

have you exported the universe with the updated connection details?

Hi, I believe we can get to the Universe stage only once the connections are sorted. Am facing issues with connections itself. Thanks.
