Runstats on SAP Table - Clarifications

Hi SAP gurus,

I am planning to request run stats for SAP Standard table in XX system due to the addition of the new index and at the same time, transport request also be migrated to the same XX system.

Will it cause any problem? Pls advise.

Hi Villiappan,

I don't see a reason why this should be a problem. If you have any concerns you can schedule a script to run the stats at an offpeak time.

As suggested by Juan, this is no problem as we run full stats once/twice a week´during off peak.
