SCM Optimizer 7.0 installation

Hi All,

We are planning to install SCM Optimizer 10.0 on Linux Server for our SCM 7.0 EHP2 Server.

I have gone through the documents and came to know that First I have to standalone gateway and then on it we will install Optimizer.

Can you please clear my below doubts to complete Optimizer setup -

1) What File Systems I need to request on Linux Server For Optimizer Setup, As per my understanding we need two file systems -

a) /usr/sap/<Gateway SID>

b) /scmopt

2) Which user will be owner of /scmopt File System, Do we need to request <SCM>ADM user on Optimizer host and assign this as owner of /scmopt file system.

3) Do we need to assign any SID or instance number to Optimizer during installation.

4) RFCs which need to be setup in SCM, Are they create as part of SCM installation or they should be manually created after optimizer setup.

Please help me in clearing above doubts.

it's wrong forum to discuss the case.

I recommend to create the SAP message to SCM-APO-OPT component & get SAP support.
