Hi Gurus,
We are implementing SRM 7.02 integrated with ECC 6.06. In conection with that we are going to implement the MM-SUS and Bid Decoupling Scenario.
In this customer at present they manage in some cases vendors with several offices/branches each one with a commercial contact email address to trigguer emails to inform a purchase order or a Bid to correspondent contact.
We would like to know if SUS is able to determine (as standard) different email accounts from a business partner to trigger emails depending the vendor office or branch to inform new or updated purchasing and logistics document documents (PO, Bid, goods receipt, etc)?
We hope a response from yours for that request. Thanks in advance.
Best Regards,
Horacio Miranda
Hi Horacio,
the general rule is, you have one backend vendor which is synchronized with one business partner in SUS, which has one email address. SUS notifications will be sent ot this address only. Other than that each supplier business partner can have several contact person users created in SUS, and each contact person can have his own notification settings to his own email address.

Hi Zoltan,
Thank you for your response.
When you talk about the vendor´s users with contact persons in SUS, I don´t know how SUS determine which, i.e. a ECC purchase order or a SRM RFx, must be addressed to specific vendor user. Should there an standard way to configure that functionallity? Do you know any approach or work around to perform that requirement?
Thank you again.
Regards,
Horacio
Hi Horacio,
there is no such determination. If the contact person user A has configured in his own settings to receive email alerts for purchase orders, he will receive notification for all orders. If user B has configured the same, he will also receive the same notifications. This is the current functionality. I am pretty sure that your requirement can be realized by custom development and/or modifications only.
regards
Zoltan
