Hii Experts,

I got this error "Cannot find an 'Java SCS' SAP instance appropriate for clustering. Please check your input data." while installing the first cluster node on ABAP+JAVA stack.The NW version is 7.0 SR1 on ECC 6.0.I am not sure why i encountered this as i have installed ASCS and SCS from ABAP+JAVA stack successfully.Any help would be appreciated.

Hi

Central services instance for ABAP & JAVA installation on the virtual host? have you started the SAPINST from Command prompt?

(eg sapinst.exe SAPINST_USE_HOSTNAME=<Cluster Virtual host name>)

and better use the Sap installation media NW7.0 SR3 (Not NW 7 SR1)

refer the sap installation Master guide
