PI alerts getting delayed

Hi experts,

We have set message alert configuration in PI system 7.3.1, but we are getting alerts in every 30 mins.

Is there any way, so we can receive alerts immediately when something goes wrong.

Also plz send me standard documents related to.... how to set alerts in PI 7.3.1.

Hi Koti,

Every alert is classified according to error category and code. On the AS Java side, the system checks how much time is elapsed since the last alert for this combination. The system raises an alert only if this time is greater than a configurable time interval. The time interval is specified in the alerting.suppressInterval parameter of AF Core Services and its default value is 50000 (in milliseconds).
