Sybase Database Backup

Dear All,

I am new to sybase database .I have installed ERP 6.0 EHP6 with SYbase.

Now I need to set the backup strategy,Please let me know how to take the backup in sybase and what is the criteria for backup .

We are using for backup Symantic backup third part tool for backup.

Please suggest and guide how to proceed further.

Hi ,

Refer below notes for backup and recovery on Sybase database

Note 1585981 - SYB: Ensuring Recoverability for Sybase ASE

Note 1588316 - SYB: Configure automatic database and log backups

For symantec integration you need to check with the Vendor how they can integrate the same with Sybase Database.
