Hi Experts,
I am using PI 7.11.
In my desktop i have Java 1.7.0_21, and OS is Windows 7-32bit.
When i am trying to launch ESR or ID by clicking on the icons on the Integration Builder, I receive a prompt asking for download of every individual jar file, where i need to click a check box (yes/no). After download of some 20-25 jar files, the downloading hangs. This happens for both ESR and ID.
I have tried clearing local cache, and also tried Java Webstart Administration->"Restore Archive" and "Restore Archive and generate signature".
Let me know if you have ever encountered such a situation and have any solution.
Attached is screen shot showing a pop up window which keeps on asking for downloading individual jar file, and hangs.
i lowered the java version from 1.7.0_21 to 1.7.0_09. Its working. THanks for all replies

Hi Sudeep,
you have to install java 1.5 version as mentioned by inaki.
i think 1.6 will also work for PI7.11 EHP1 as per below thread, please check. but better to use 1.5.

Also try to clear temporary internet files.
Control panel->java->general->settings->delete files.
then open ESR and ID.

Hi Sudeep,
Update your java version and see.
Also Go it PI Home page--> Administration --> ESR --> Java web-start application
click on start application and see. in the next tab, you can check for ID.
Check the JNLP file and the path of the ESR and Id.
OR
go to run-> type javaws/javaws -viewer
and go to preferences and delete the client files.
then start the ESr and ID.
OR
un-install and JDL and re-install it.
go to MENU->TOOLS->INTERNET OPTIONS->CONNECTION->LAN SETTINGS->IGNORE PROXY SETTING FOR LOCAL ADDRESS-> Set your hostname.
