Hello Philip,

Right Click the object in the business layer > Edit Dispay format.

Here i guess, you can edit the format to display.

Thanks,

Madhumitha

Hi Madhumitha,

Tried this but doesn't look to allow you to set precision on it.

Shows various numerci formats but none 123.12 for example.

How can we set precision on numbers?

Found can set format definition to decimal - is there a way of rounding this up se.g setting display format to automtically 2 digits afetr decimal point at moment whosing a few digits afetr decimal point;.

Whne try type custome format say 123.12%

dsipaly format on preview shaows as 123.12.12

Thanks

Philip

Hi Philip,

Any (business perspective) reason why you would like to adjust that format in IDT?

I ask because I don't think that particular setting is exposed to all frontend tools.

Best regards,

Victor

Hi All,

Business reason is because more accurate to show the prescision on our case

Need greater accuracy than simply value without the decimal precision.

Does anyone have a screenshot of how can set format to show 2 digits after the decimal place in IDT.

Have tried ##.## but then report shows ##.## rather than 50.24 for example.

Thanks

In IDT you can achieve the same using Format Editor.

Format Editor-->Selec the Object Type-->Custom Format Or select the format types available already
