SAP Software Provisioning Manager - Solaris Sparc

Hello,

I have separate DB and I need to install Diagnostic agent on this host. Its Solaris Sparc 64 bits. Problem is when SWPM is asking me for kernel DVD, because I dont know which want I can put there. Where I can get this DVD in suitable format? I need to have prepared it for maintenance window, because I have very limited access to VNC session there, So I cannot try it in advance. Just package number is enough. Thank you very much who has experience with this.

I used material number 51044253_22 "NW 7.31 Kernel, Inst.Master, Upgr.Master Solaris SPARC 64 " available from service.sap.com/swdc > Installations and Upgrades > SAP NetWeaver and complementary products >  SAP NetWeaver > SAP EHP1 FOR SAP NETWEAVER 7.3 > Solaris

once extracted , please tell SWPM that your Diags Agent kernel is in <master_DVD>/DATA_UNITS/K_720_U_SOLARIS_SPARC

Hi Majeta,

You dont required seperate kernel dvd for the DAA installation.Only file you need is Diagnostic agents installation .SAR file as per your system. once you uncar this file kernel file is in it.Also you can run diagnostic installation without SWPM.
